On our back deck we have a 8’ grill. In that grill we have a place for paper towels. Back deck people also call them napkins. But the problem is you need to get up go to the grill UNZIP the cover, open the drawer, get the napkins and put everything back. WAY too much work. Now if we could just leave paper towels on the deck, we would have less hassle. But good old Mom-Nature brings us rain on occasion that can make them useless. Now if ONLY someone had a sealed plastic container we could leave paper towels outside in… sorry napkins, life might be one politician from perfect!
So where would one FIND such a container? Where indeed? Menards, Target, Home Depot, Axman… NO! Wait once The Container Store is only a few miles from Mpls Bachmans where we were at for the Uptown Art Fair…. BRILLANT!
So off we went on France off Crosstown 62 by Southdale & Byerlys to The Container Store armed with our trusty 6’ measuring device we always keep in our center console. The Container Store has Parking above it so we did not need to wait with all the other idiots in the parking lot. The ONLY tricky thing about The Container Store is the elevator. I know someone that designs computer chiups for NASA should be able to figure out a simple elevator. Hey I have mastered the elevator next to then Science Museum by Excel which has floors in ½ levels. But NO this was more challenging. The floor below 1, which we were on after driving up 1 level was 0. No Ground, Basement, WE were going to floor ZERO! So we went with it. Yes we came out on Ground level right next to the entrance of the Container Store!
Did we find a container to exactly fit our requirements? How about FIVE of them… OK a BIT of a leap… more than one. And we had what we like to call OPTIONS! Instead, This MIGHT FIT! We bought up from the $4 model to a $15 model but the first time it rained on our NAPKINS we were happy.
By the way the container store have 12,034 different unique containers for your every need and is worth the trip to Southdale area. Did you buy the number, most people accept precision. Anyway we have never been NOT satisfied with anything we bought at the container store or anyone we have dealt with there. Check them out it is a go-to place for us!
